Terms of Service
These Terms set out the rights and responsibilities between you and Kibee when you use the Service. Please read them in full before use.
The Service
Kibee provides individuals with network connectivity and related tools that improve the security and privacy of internet access. The exact features, supported platforms and availability are those shown on the website, in the app or at checkout.
You should assess the risks yourself and remain responsible for your use. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for direct or indirect loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service.
Licence
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, distribute, adapt, reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code or interfaces of the Service without written permission.
We may adjust, suspend or discontinue features as needed for operations, with reasonable advance notice.
Accounts and access
Accounts are for the registered user only and may not be lent, sold, rented or otherwise shared. Keep your credentials safe and take responsibility for activity under your account.
If you notice unusual sign-ins, leaked credentials or another security risk, change your password promptly and contact us using the details on this page. To protect the Service and other users, we may investigate unusual activity and restrict access where necessary. You may appeal after verification.
Acceptable use
You must comply with applicable law and must not use or help others use the Service to:
- Distribute malware, intrude into systems, steal credentials, phish or access others' systems without authorization.
- Launch denial-of-service attacks, traffic floods or otherwise disrupt networks, servers or other services.
- Distribute malicious code, operate botnets, conduct command-and-control communications or exploit vulnerabilities.
- Commit fraud, abuse payment systems or circumvent lawful restrictions.
- Harass, threaten or stalk others, or distribute content that promotes violence.
- Create, distribute or obtain content involving the sexual exploitation of minors, or harm minors in any way.
- Violate applicable sanctions, export controls or other legal restrictions.
- Resell, share or otherwise bypass subscription or device limits.
If we detect such activity, we may investigate and, depending on severity, issue a warning, restrict features, suspend or terminate the account, remove content, or report the matter to competent authorities.
Fair use and service stability
To keep the Service stable, we may apply reasonable technical limits such as rate limits, connection limits, device limits and abuse protection. Traffic that is sustained, automated or clearly beyond normal personal use may be throttled or disconnected.
Where we take such measures, we will try to explain why and provide a way to appeal.
Subscriptions, payment and auto-renewal
Paid plans may be purchased through the Kibee website or another channel we designate. Prices, billing periods and taxes are those shown at checkout.
Before a subscription expires, the payment channel may charge the next period automatically and extend the service. See the auto-renewal notice for details. You can cancel through the original purchase channel at any time; fees already incurred and refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.
Refunds
The Service is a digital service. Except where applicable law requires otherwise or the Refund Policy provides otherwise, subscription fees are non-refundable once the Service is activated. Purchases made through a third-party channel should first follow that channel's refund process.
Intellectual property
The software, interfaces, text, graphics, marks and related content in the Service are protected by intellectual-property law. Without our written permission, you may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer or otherwise infringe those rights.
Feedback and suggestions you submit may be used to improve our products and do not create any additional rights for you.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service stable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Maintenance, technical faults, legal requirements or platform-policy changes may cause temporary interruptions or feature changes.
For material changes, we will provide a reasonable explanation on the website, in the app or through the purchase channel.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We are not liable for interruptions or loss caused by network conditions, third-party services, device faults or events beyond our reasonable control.
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our liability relating to a specific service is limited to the amount you actually paid for that service, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
Termination and enforcement
If you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, or your use poses a risk to the Service, others or us, we may suspend or terminate your access. You may request account deletion using the contact details on this page.
After termination, the provisions on intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the place where the service provider is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The parties should first try to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation; if that fails, the dispute may be submitted to a court with jurisdiction.
Before a dispute is resolved, both parties should continue to perform obligations unaffected by the dispute.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for legal or operational reasons. Updated Terms will be published on the website or in the app and apply from the effective date shown. To the extent permitted by law, continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
