Privacy Policy

We collect only the information needed to run the service, keep it secure and improve the experience, and we handle it in line with applicable law.

Last updated: 2026-10-23 · Effective date: 2026-10-23

Scope and key points

This Privacy Policy applies to the Kibee website, client applications and the network tools and support services provided through them (together, the “Service”). We process personal information on the principles of lawfulness, fairness and necessity, and collect only what a specific function requires.

This page explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights.

Information we collect

We collect the following information depending on the features you use:

  • Account and sign-in information: your email address, a hashed password, and the sign-in time and device identifiers needed to keep your account secure.
  • Device and network information: device model, operating-system version, browser type, IP address, connection status and limited diagnostic logs, used to maintain connections, troubleshoot faults and prevent abuse.
  • Network-check information: when you start an IP lookup directly, your browser sends a request to the service identified on the page (currently ipinfo.io), which receives the network information needed to answer it, including your exit IP address.
  • Support and communications: the content you submit through in-app support or email, your contact address, and any order or account details you provide so we can resolve the issue.
  • Website usage information: aggregated page views, clicks and interaction analytics used to understand whether pages are easy to use. We do not use this data to identify you.

How we use information

We use information only for the following purposes:

  • To provide, maintain and improve the Service, including establishing connections, syncing settings and fixing faults.
  • To verify accounts, protect sign-in security and detect unusual or abusive activity.
  • To respond to your enquiries, support requests and rights requests.
  • To meet legal obligations or respond to lawful requests from competent authorities.
  • With your consent, to send important service notices or product updates.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making unrelated to these purposes.

Cookies, local storage and third-party services

We use cookies or browser local storage to remember your language preference, keep necessary session state and protect page security. You can clear or restrict this data in your browser settings, although some features may then stop working.

The Service may use the following third-party capabilities, which process only the information needed for the relevant function:

  • Microsoft Clarity: page-visit and interaction analytics that help us improve the website experience.
  • ipinfo.io: answers the exit-IP lookup when you start it on the homepage.
  • Payment and support providers: process checkout, subscription management or customer-support conversations when you use those functions.

These providers process information under their own privacy policies. We recommend reading their public notices before using the related features.

Sharing, transfer and disclosure

We do not sell or rent personal information to unrelated third parties. We may share necessary information only in these cases:

  • With service providers engaged to deliver the Service, who may process information only on our instructions.
  • In a merger, acquisition or transfer of assets, where information may move with the business; we will require the recipient to remain bound by this Policy.
  • Where required by law, or where necessary to protect the rights and safety of users, the public or us.

We will not publicly disclose your personal information except as permitted by law or with your explicit authorization.

Storage location and retention

Information may be stored or processed on servers outside your country or region. We take appropriate measures to ensure cross-border processing complies with applicable law.

We keep information only for as long as needed for the processing purpose or as required by law, and then delete or anonymize it. After account deletion, information is deleted or anonymized except for records we are legally required to keep.

Security measures

We use encrypted transmission, access controls, least privilege and incident response to protect information. No internet transmission is absolutely secure, so please use a strong password and keep your account and devices safe.

If a security incident may affect your rights, we will take remedial action and notify affected users as required by applicable law.

Your rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may:

  • Access and correct: view and update some information in your account settings.
  • Delete: request deletion once the purpose is fulfilled or you withdraw consent, except where retention is required by law.
  • Withdraw consent: withdraw at any time for processing based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
  • Delete your account: email support@kibee.net and we will act after verifying your identity.

We will respond within a reasonable period. If you believe our processing harms your lawful rights, you may also complain to a competent regulator.

Users in the EEA and the UK

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, legal obligations or your consent. You may have the right to access, export, restrict or object to processing, and to complain to a regulator.

Where cross-border transfers are involved, we use applicable safeguards. You can learn more through the contact details on this page.

Minors

The Service is intended for users with the legal capacity to enter into a contract. Users under 18 should use it under the guidance of a parent or guardian; where guardian consent is required, we will explain this in the relevant feature.

If we learn that a minor's information was collected without necessary consent, we will delete it as soon as possible.

Policy updates

We may update this Policy because of legal requirements or service changes. We will give prominent notice on the website or in the app for material changes. The updated Policy applies from the effective date shown on this page; to the extent permitted by law, continued use of the Service means you accept the update.

Contact us

If you have questions about this Policy, want to exercise your rights or need to discuss a specific clause, email support@kibee.net. We will confirm receipt as soon as possible and reply within a reasonable period.

Need more detail?

Email support@kibee.net and we will reply as soon as possible about privacy, terms, refunds or renewals.
